This is the Online Visa Appointment System  of the Consulate-General of the Netherlands in
CAPE TOWN

PLEASE MAKE ONE APPOINTMENT PER SLOT PER PERSON, ALSO IF YOU APPLY WITH MORE FAMILY MEMBERS AND/OR FRIENDS

To make your visa appointment online, please:
-Click the word CALENDAR at the bottom of this page.
-Click the preferred month.
-Click the preferred day and time.
-Fill out the registration form and click submit.

Please note:
- You can make appointments up to two months in advance.
- Your confirmation e-mail has a link to our website, where you can find all specific requirements for your visa application.

In case you want to cancel your appointment or if you did not receive a confirmation please send an e-mail to kaa-ca@minbuza.nl  with your name, date and time of appointment and your request. We will answer you as soon as possible. 

To book an appoinment for a GROUP please contact the us on +27 (0)21 421 5660. Our Receptionist will gladly assist you. Appointments will be set from Monday till Thursday between 14.00 and 15.00 hours.   

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR VISA APPLICATION  

In order to process your visa application smoothly please make sure you hand in your documents in the right order as mentioned hereunder. 

Tourist visa, visiting friends, relatives etc. 

1.         Passport (needs to be valid for at least 3 months more than the duration of the requested visa)
2.         Two recent passport sized photographs, in colour
3.         One filled out and signed Schengen visa application form
4.         Copy of your flight itinerary or original air ticket
5.         Original and signed invitation + copy of passport or residence permit of the person who has invited you.
            In case of stay in hotel: confirmation of hotel booking
6.         Proof of financial means minimum of EURO 34,00 per day per person
7.         Proof of International Health insurance (minimum coverage approx. ZAR 350.000).        

Visa fee: we accept  Debit / Credit Cards 

Business visa, cultural, sports, official etc. 

1.         Passport (needs to be valid for at least 3 months more than the duration of the requested visa)
2.         Two recent passport sized photographs, in colour
3.         One filled out and signed Schengen visa application form
4.         Copy of your flight itinerary or original air ticket
5.         Official business letter or fax from company, institute or organisation in Schengen state
            AND business letter from own Employer or Institute, stating duration and purpose of visit
6.         Proof of financial means minimum of Euro 34 per day per person
7.         Proof of International Health insurance (minimum coverage Rand 350.000).        

Visa fee: we accept Debit / Credit Cards 

Please make sure that you have kept your own copy of these documents       
Visa application processing takes a minimum of 5 working days
Passports can be collected on working days from 09.00 – 12.00
